My work encompasses the social and ecological worlds humans create through the production of food and wine. I hold a PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and teach with programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and Italy. Exeriential education and study abroad have been at the center of my career between Europe and the US since 2008, as a program designer, instructor, and leader for high school and university students.
